/Update: Posted: "The latest update we got told from one of the farm owners that the two escapees were sighted on a farm in Pindar, airplane search and police are searching all around there now."
Update 4/1/13
The men were seen Friday night at 10.30pm at BP Cue, paying for the fuel with cash, having changed out of their prison greens into casual clothes.
Cue service station attendents called the police, who spotted the fugitives on the Great Northern Highway and engaged in a pursuit before losing sight of the vehicle 15km north of Mount Magnet.
At 2.30am they were again spotted by police on Mullewa-Mt Magnet Road, heading east.
Police pursued the vehicle at high speed before the escapees turned off onto Pindar Road, with the gravel road causing police to lose sight of the vehicle.
However on Saturday morning police located the vehicle bogged 39km north of Mullewa, on the Carnarvon-Mullewa Road.
Police have not located the escapees but the dog squad is en-route to the location.
