Search continuing for escapee prisoners

The search continues for the two men that escaped from custody at Geraldton Airport yesterday. Police located the vehicle approximately 39 km north of Mullewa.

The Toyota Kluger became bogged around 7:40 this morning. The pair are believed to be on foot, and police dogs have been sent in to help with the search.

Police say the pair are dangerous, and should not be approached. If you see them contact police on 131444 or 000.

Update:

WA's corrective services commissioner has banned prison transfers, unless they're approved personally by him, after this Geraldton escape
