The girl who grows pearls
/Pia grows and farms her pearls at the Abrolhos Islands, 60 kilometres off the coast of Geraldton.
It is a place she is very familiar with, being born into a lobster fishing family.
Pia has worked and visited the islands ever since she can remember; in actual fact she was the first baby christened at the Abrolhos.
